RMIT International University, Vietnam - Residential Centre - 240 beds

Auskor Australasia were initially engaged by RMIT International University to undertake an independent review and assessment of building plans for the development of 240 beds of purpose - built student accommodation on the University's South Saigon campus in Vietnam.

The specialist consultancy report delivered expert student accommodation management advice and recommendations in regard to the functional design and layout of the building and operational considerations for the facility. The report included an analysis of similar facilities in the South East Asian region, including student accommodation facilities in Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand.

Auskor Australasia later deployed a student accommodation management consultancy project team to Ho Chi Minh City to assist the client to commission the building, establish the operating systems and prepare and train a University management team during the pre opening period to operate the Residential Centre long term.

This world class purpose-built student accommodation facility opened to capacity and sets a new benchmark for student accommodation in South East Asia.
